Emmy 2021: HBO desbanca Netflix e lidera lista de indicações, confira

O Emmy é um dos prêmios mais importantes para produções e profissionais da televisão e streaming. Nesta terça, 13, a Academia de Artes e Ciências Televisivas dos Estados Unidos anunciou a lista de indicados à 73ª edição do Primetime Emmy Awards. 

As indicações foram reveladas por Ron Cephas Jones e Jasmine Cephas Jones, pai e filha vencedores do ano passado. A edição de 2021 acontece ao vivo em 19 de setembro, no Microsoft Theater em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos.

As produções indicadas tiveram que ser exibidas entre 1º de junho de 2020 e 31 de maio de 2021, e foram escolhidas pelos membros da academia, quase 20 mil pessoas.

Os títulos mais lembrados foram: "The Crown", "The Mandalorian", "WandaVision", "O Conto da Aia", "Saturday Night Live", "Ted Lasso", "Lovecraft Country", "O Gambito da Rainha" e "Mare of Easttown".

Neste ano, Mj Rodriguez, de "Pose", se torna a primeira mulher trans a concorrer na categoria de "Melhor Atriz em Série Dramática". A obra já conta com três temporadas e está em exibição desde 2018, mas ela somente foi inidicada em 2021.
