O presidente francês, Emmanuel Macron, recebeu o líder indígena brasileiro Raoni, ontem, e lhe assegurou apoio da França na luta para proteger a biodiversidade e os povos da Amazônia, vítimas de um crescente desmatamento. Macron conversou por 45 minutos com Raoni e três outros líderes da Amazônia - Kailu, Tapy Yawalapiti e Bemoro Metuktire. Ao fim da reunião, eles levantaram os braços nos degraus do Palácio Eliseu. O objetivo da viagem de três semanas pela Europa é alertar a opinião pública e políticos para salvar a grande reserva do Xingu.
